We are proud to swap house bricks for Lego bricks in support of a local primary school as part of our ongoing community support programme.

Our Wetherby branch, based in The Horsefair Centre on North Street, have gifted six sets of Lego building bricks and toys to the wonderful children at St Edward’s Catholic Primary School, in Boston Spa.

Branch manager Emily Wilkinson said:

“We are very much part of the Wetherby family, and work hard to give back to the community however and whenever we can - often in innovative ways. It is very rewarding to support the school and put smiles on the pupils’ faces.

“It is our hope that the Lego will provide some creative learning opportunities and perhaps spur future generations of budding house builders and architects!

“We are proud of our local roots and to help thousands of people move home across the Wetherby district for almost 20 years.

The donation was made through our long-running initiative to give back to our local communities by helping schools, sports clubs, charities, and other good causes.

Other grassroots community groups to have benefited include Boston Spa Gala, Wetherby Cricket Club, Crossley Street Primary School, and Gateways School.
